CLIENT: Basic Skills Agency, new product launch of 'Link Up'

BUDGET: £50-75,000 per year
The Basic Skills Agency was launching a new volunteer project in specific
target areas in England. This is a pilot project for a possible future
national roll out.
BRIEF: The brief was to develop a brand identity for this project and differentiate it from the very competitive environment of volunteer acquisition.
The project involved:
- Strategic planning and project management
- Market research of creative approach and messaging
- Creative development of printed material
- Print management
- On going marketing material development and support of the in-house project team
EFFECTIVENESS: The project had a target to recruit 6,000 volunteers between March 2003 and June 2004, up to November 2003 5,000 have been recruited in a very competitive market.
